Check back for the next time we sew more beds for NYC's homeless animals with the Mother's Comfort Project! Please join Rational Animal for another fun, festive sewing session to help needy animals in city shelters. Over 4,000 beds and 3,000 toys have been made and brought to Animal Care and Control through the Mother's Comfort Project, an advocacy project that engages the public by bringing in volunteers to sew cage comforters and by bringing attention to the AC&C shelters and the plight of animal homelessness in NYC. The comforters provide a soft place for a homeless animal to sleep -- with a touch of love from the generous people who sew them. There are thousands of animals in NYC's shelters, and we want to make this year a little warmer for all of them. No sewing experience is needed! Can't join us?
